Schedule (days/hours): Monday thru Friday Responsibilities:
Educates patients on oral healthcare and the prevention of dental problems
Examines teeth and diagnoses patients’ dental conditions
Assesses treatment options and presents treatment plans to patients
Documents risk assessment and records findings for, but not limited to, oral cancer screening, periodontal screening/charting and caries risk
Considers appropriate interventions based on risk and reinforces recommendations made to support diagnoses
Provides clinical treatments
Maintains patient dental records
Keeps apprised of new developments through structured continuing professional development
Markets services to potential clients
Detects disease with appropriate screening and assessment tools
Refers patients to orthodontists or other dental specialists for more advanced procedures and care when appropriate
Selects appropriate materials and equipment for dental treatment
Protects patients and employees by adhering to OSHA infection-control policies
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential and adhering to HIPAA privacy policies
Follows all Standard Operating Procedures and other guidelines in accordance with the employee handbook and state statutes/rules

Qualifications:
Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) required.
About:
The compensation range for this role is $200,000 - $370,000 per year
