Position Summary
The Event Planning Assistant is a full-time university staff position, which is part of the Office of University Centers within the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
This position is responsible for executing event setup logistics to ensure customer needs are met.
This includes supervision of a student-staffed event setup crew.

Preferred Qualifications Experience managing event setup staff Experience utilizing event room setup diagram software Experience with event management software Physical Demands This is a physical job that requires repetitive lifting, pushing and pulling of event furniture related equipment, and small tents.
Must be able to work with hands and arms above shoulder level; requires considerable movement of arms/shoulders, and twisting/bending of the back.
Ability to stand/walk to perform essential job functions for the duration of the shift.
Basic custodial duties are required.
Working conditions and environment Work hours are generally Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.
m.
– 3:30 p.
m.
, however, some evening and weekend hours will be required to meet the needs of event setups and student staff meetings.
