Student Organizations Program Management.
Responsible for implementing the student organization recognition and registration process and managing the club directory.
Provide support to students in the creation of new student organizations, ensuring that students receive necessary training and resources.
Conduct regular review of student organization constitutions and advise the Association of Student Organization Director position on Student Senate.
Provide training and resources to student organization officers and advisers on University and State policies.
Develop, recommend, and interpret university policies and procedures which govern and regulate activities of recognized student organizations.
Enforce policies and implement accountability measures including conflict resolution between organization officers and/or advisers.
Work collaboratively with campus staff to support student organization event planning including travel requests.
Coordinate annual club fairs and other opportunities for student organizations to represent themselves on campus.

Warriors LEAD Programming.
Coordinate and collaborate with other campus leaders to develop, implement, and assess student leadership programs and events that improve the holistic development of students.
This includes but is not limited to educational workshops, seminars, conferences, and retreats.
Facilitate on-going leadership development and training for student organization leaders and student employees.
Coordinate the annual Student Leadership & Involvement Awards program.

Community Service and Civic Engagement.
Coordinate community service and volunteer opportunities for students.
This includes maintaining an active database of local organizations and other on-campus opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with area non-profit organizations.
Promote on-going and one-time volunteer opportunities to students.
Coordinate annual community service events.
4.
Student Organization Advising.
Serve as co-adviser of the WSU Student Senate with the Director of Student Union & Activities.
Responsible for developing a strong working relationship with and supporting individual senators, chairs, and executive members as necessary.
This includes policy review and event & marketing support.
Serve as business operations adviser to the Winonan Student Newspaper including managing payroll and distribution.

Student Union & Activities Collaboration.
Participate as a part of the greater Student Union & Activities staff team and utilize a student development approach to working with students, student employees and volunteers to develop a customer service focused environment.
Work cooperatively with staff and students on projects, participate in policy formation and review for the department, support and attend departmental and campus programs, serve as an active member on university committees and provide clarity of communication throughout the organization.
Assist with campus events including but not limited to Warrior Gameday Experience, Welcome Week, WSU Family Weekend, Homecoming and WinterFest.
Assist director with strategic planning for Student Union & Activities department.
Coordinate department level assessment initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned that support the University, Student Life and Development division, and departmental priorities and initiatives including professional development and campus committee participation.
Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Development, Counseling or related field.
Two (2) years of professional experience in student life and development, event planning, community development, etc.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of student development and/or leadership theories.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Knowledge in student development and advising, event planning, and promotion.
Experience with Leadership training and development.
Experience in training, teaching, or facilitation.
Conflict resolution experience.
Knowledge of comprehensive student activities program including programming, student organizations, and leadership development.
