What you need: * High School Diploma or equivalency * *1 year experience in a medical office setting, billing, coding and *organizational/coordination *skills.

_ Under director of Clinic Manager, provides daily coordination of activities directly related to the Business Office.
Schedules and coordinates work flow and staffing patterns to maximize coverage of business office departments.
Coordinates and handles special assignments from the Clinic Manager pertaining to the business office.
*Major Responsibilities: * 1.
Under direction of Clinic Manager, coordinates activities of Patient Liaison, Medical Records, Coding and Patient Business Service staff for specified functions.
Among responsibilities assumed are the approval of time cards and time off requests by staff in these departments.
Coordinates/ensures that appropriate staffing is available to adequately staff the departments.
Maintains weekly progress report from each department, verifying timelines are being met for monthly system financial reports.

Identifies improvement needs related to office services.
Reporting back to Clinic Manager regarding improvement needs related to office services and current status of workload and backlog.
Assists in the implementation of recommendation approved by Clinical Manager.

Provides and communicates regular weekly updates to business office staff and reports back to Clinic Manager.
4.
Coordinates the orientation and training of the technical aspects all new business office staff.
5.
Prepares activities reports for guidance of management using computer.
Compiles reports and information required by management or governmental agencies.
6.
Performs Office Assistant work as necessary.
Performs any and all business office functions as needed at the director of the Clinic Manager.
7.
Views, documents, or prints from the patients electronic health record to assist with coordination of patient care.
8.
Schedules and coordinates a variety of projects and handles special assignments as directed by management.
9.
Acts as liaison between regional business department staff and La Crosse departments for information, efficiency improvement and implementation of system initiatives.
*Education and Learning: * REQUIRED High School Diploma or equivalency DESIRED Post High School education in a specialized field: Medical terminology or Equivalent allied health education *Work Experience: * REQUIRED 1 year experience in a medical office setting, billing, coding and organizational/coordination skills.
*License and Certifications: * DESIRED Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Based (CCS-P) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
