The Systems Analyst II position provides support for all internal users of the Dairyland systems, analyzing problems using available data and information, proposing and documenting solutions, participating in User Acceptance Testing, and owning training content and delivery.
Work with business owners, technology, and business partners at all levels to understand business strategy, requirements, and timelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Troubleshoot and solve user-supported issues.
Liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information concisely, logically, and understandable in coordination with the IT team.
Build trust through solid and long-term relationships with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Driving operational excellence – Drive business process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility and appropriate customization; build processes and tools that ensure a high-quality employee experience as well as comply with policies and regulations Subject matter expert – Develop deep knowledge of the downstream/upstream systems utilized by Dairyland Power Cooperative, advise the business on best practices and requirements for optimizing the use of these systems.
Develop support model – Provide production support for business-owned rules, processes, and maintain production support documentation, design business processes and associated support structures that align with technology solutions.
Develop relationship with business owners to ensure their processes are clearly captured and documented to create and maintain training documentation.
Project support activities to include implementations, new feature launches, bug/fixes and enhancements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in the technology field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience with system implementation projects (e.
g.
, requirements documentation, solution design, systems configuration, test documentation and execution, issue identification, and resolution).
Must have experience in SQL and data reporting.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Skills of Interest: Relevant program/project management/business analyst experience (3 years) Experience implementing and maintaining systems and processes Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment Working knowledge of gathering business requirements and the UAT process.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, possessing strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Can flourish handling multiple tasks, workload, changing priorities, and tight deadlines Successful record of building and improving operational processes and procedures, ability to drive program efficiency, and high levels of customer satisfaction Strong ability to negotiate/propose effective and practical business solutions Strong systems knowledge, uses technology to scale programs and improve efficiencies, experience defining technical requirements and working with systems resources Strong problem-solving skills – ability to assess a problem and determine a practical course of action with a sustainable solution Excellent written and verbal communications skills - the ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in influencing decision-makers and managing expectations Experience identifying and resolving complex issues will take the initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances - solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
