Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Role Player

Location: Fort McCoy- Sparta, WI
Position Summary: EOD Role Player will engage in professional-level role-playing duties as part of a U.
S.
Army field training exercise.
Their primary responsibility is to enhance the realism of training in preparation for real-world situations that the unit may face during contingency operations.
These training events take place at Fort McCoy, WI, and require role players to grasp scenarios and respond to different trainee reactions.
The role player will adjust as needed to achieve the desired training objectives.
Additionally, this position is a great fit for Servicemembers and their spouses, offering an excellent chance to participate in military training and acquire valuable experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Fly on Military Aircraft to include Aircraft without seats or doors.
Receive an IV and other medical treatment as part of the scenario.
Follow a script without deviation.
Be engaged by Simmunitions at close range.
If directed to resist, must be willing to be forced into submission appropriately.
Be near explosive entry training and explosive distraction devices.
Have their person searched.
Accept treatment in a Military Treatment Facility when necessary.
Ability to be exposed to low-dose x-ray system.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Former military, professional role player/training facilitator with extensive SOF/SMU OPFOR experience.
U.
S.
Citizen.
Have an active SECRET security clearance as well as sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Over the age of 18.
Read/write and speak fluent English.
In good physical health
Pass a background check.
Ability to pass a drug screening.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be in good physical health and capable of:
Navigating dense vegetation while carrying an assault rifle and up to 45lbs of equipment.
Climbing industrial internal and external staircases exceeding 30 feet while carrying up to 45lbs of equipment.
Performing in austere conditions for up to 12 hours without access to amenities.
