Job Title: Nursing House Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Nursing House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the nursing house facility.
They will coordinate with the nursing staff, manage resources, and provide essential support to promote high-quality patient care.
The Nursing House Supervisor will maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Supervise and monitor nursing staff, ensuring they adhere to protocols and provide excellent patient care.
2.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement nursing care plans for residents.
3.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
4.
Conduct regular rounds to assess residents' health status and address any concerns promptly.
5.
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents, working closely with physicians, families, and ancillary departments.
6.
Oversee medication management and administration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed guidelines.
7.
Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and fostering a positive work culture.
8.
Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper functioning.
9.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient outcomes.
10.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
11.
Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating nursing personnel, fostering their competence and performance.
12.
Stay updated on the latest regulations, trends, and best practices in nursing and healthcare administration.
13.
Address and resolve conflicts or complaints from residents or their families in a professional and compassionate manner.
14.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
15.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, survey processes, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
1.
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the respective state.
2.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
3.
Proven experience as a nurse in a clinical setting, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
4.
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and healthcare regulations.
5.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
6.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and various healthcare software applications.
7.
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and delegate tasks effectively.
8.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex healthcare issues.
9.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and work effectively under pressure.
10.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
