1997 dr350se - $2,500

1997 dr350se This has been my adventure bike for over a decade, I have been on many adventures on this bike but it is time to pass it on to the next owner for new adventures I have recently done a lot of maintenance New brakes - pads and rotors front and back newer tires new chain and sprockets Lithium ion battery conversion with battery tender( a must for big thumpers) comes with the wolfman bags which are infinitely useful - I have the top back also that goes with it too - and probably more I am forgetting, It comes with a plethora of parts I have accumulated over the years - I have a stack of oil filters, rotors, a second carb and jets, the original tank ( the one on there is larger for more range -200mi or so) I would trust it to run from here to California in back no problem - as I have put 23K miles on it and it has never let me down.
I have ridden it on 2k mi trips many times no problem.
a few disclaimers - If you are 20 something and you are looking for a fast bike to jump in the woods and go all Red Bull on a go pro - This is not the bike for you.
If you are looking for something to cruise 70mph all day on the freeway - This is not the bike for you ( it will do it, but it is just not made for it and will not wear well) If you are new to motorcycling and are looking for a "beginner bike" that is very forgiving and easy to ride - This is not the bike for you ** If however you prefer to take 2 lanes and gravel to explore the world around you on extended trips to escape to a destination unknown- This probably IS the bike for you! this bike is like an old friend, I would like to see it go to a good home $2500 obo
