Story:
When I purchased this Yamaha flute in 1997 from Leithold Music in La Crosse, WI, little did I realize it would take me to the next level of professional playing.
Within the year of purchasing the flute it took me from last chair for the WSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble to first chair.
Life changing moment.
The gold lip plate is really just for looks, but it was a conversation starter for many other flute players.
I cherished this flute and took great care of it every day.
The pads on the flute are in very good condition for being played for so many years.
It shows regular wear, but plays like a champ.
I even got a one-on-one master flute lesson with the great James “Jim” Walker (original flute player for Star Wars, and former principal flute of the LA Philharmonic) and he told me my flute was a great model to play.
Overall this flute is in very good condition with little signs of wear, as I polished it every day to keep off any oils.
I also cleaned the pads every time I played.
It comes with everything you see
pictured, including original paperwork, case, cleaning supplies, plugs for keys, cleaning rod, bo-pep finger saddle (for more support), metronome and flute stand.
I’m also throwing in all of my flute repertoire, a collection of music that is still timeless today.
This flute should go to someone that is a serious player as it will be a lifelong investment.
