Does anybody want to play thru AC/DC Bonn Scott songs.
I seen Thunderstruck ac/dc tribute band about a week ago.
I recorded 15 songs , off, my vinyl, of AC/DC Bonn Scott songs , onto CD & jammed thru them .
Be fun songs to get somebody started, playing on bass guitar /or rhythm guitar/or drums, or singing.
Willing to teach you the 15 songs.
To get some people to jam along with me.
There fun songs.
The one thing I ask is/ After I give you instruction on how to tune too one of the songs on the CD by ear.
You'll need 2 guitars (1) tuned to E and (1) tuned 1/4 off as they seem to do that.
So the one think I ask is "proof', that you practice repeating it over and over to memorize at least 50 % the easy stuff .
I can give pointers on what to listen for, as the audio track goes by.
So you get something "out of it".
Instead of repeating it & getting tired off it stressed or board & get nothing out of the time repeating it.
and then, wanting me to instruct you on every part of the song .
The parts will be: Intro's, verses, pre chorus, chorus.
lead backing piece/ some bands add a middle piece called, an interlude or bridge and
some add an outro lead backing piece.
I'm older & think other older people can pick up this talent of playing by ear as retired people have he sane time as kids did growing up.
.
I'm older and can do it, but learned it over a few years of practice try & failing but kept getting more out of the audio tracks every time I matched a song .
At first you don't get every part correct, (but come up with a similar part.
over time u (replay along with it) you hear what u need to change, form experience.
"But", I've, run into 3 diff people in a row I've spent time and wasted my time, The in thing in common that made them fail to learn what I've listed above.
Is none of them took it serious on learning NOT to use a guitar tuner and tune to the band by ear.
And that itself opens the door to matching bar chords even if there just the power cord (2 finger) type.
Then that would of enabled a person took get 50% of the pattern and you just get better and quicker at matching bar chords or topside cowboy folk chords.
Then It's all down hill from there.
Some refuse to even repeat a song over and over, in fact three previous people in a row.
flat out refused.
"BUT", If your willing to repeat some thing for (2 hours), even to get a 10 second riff run piece closer to the right thing.
You'll find out riffs made out of a piece of scale take longer at first.
If your willing to put the time in .
It's surely works to match up guitar and drum and bass patterns and you complete a whole song, then another, and another till were jammin those 15 songs.
I'm retired, and have other hobbies, but always make time to play hard rock songs with some one.
Bill D any questions just email.

ps.
Plus technology lets u cheat when you want, a helping hand.
I always said, It was always harder or impossible sometimes, to get something by ear that has a major thing in it (guitar tricks) you haven't even touched base on yet.
