Heeler mix needs good home-Urgent HELP

We are in a hard situation.
We are having to urgently relocate due to unforeseen circumstances.
We will not have housing that allows pets.
Domino is so sweet and we hate that we will have to take him to a shelter.
Domino is a male Blue Heeler(Australian Cattle Dog)-American Bulldog Mix.
He is 3 yrs 8 months (he will be 4yrs on 4/22).
He is neutered.
Domino has a very easygoing personality but can be a bit shy around new people and other animals.
He has had limited exposure to small children and other animals so not totally sure how he will react in a home with small children or other animals.
He is overall pretty healthy but a little overweight.
He loves to play and get and give love.
He is up to date on all shots and takes heart worm medication monthly.
He is housebroken and crate trained.
He is a very smart dog.
He knows basic commands and with the right training would excel.
He is just so loving and loyal.
He is also an excellent guard dog and is very vocal when he senses strangers are approaching our environment.
Overall a really great dog.
