Description: The Mortgage Loan Closer works closely with the Underwriter and Mortgage Loan Administrators.
This position is responsible for the proper processing of loan transactions and documents for loans in the portfolio as well as the maintenance of loan files and records.
This position will communicate directly with attorneys and title companies to coordinate loan documentation, and occasionally with loan customers both in person and over the phones.
In addition, this position will work with the loan file through the post-closing process with a variety of tasks.
The Mortgage Loan Closer assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

A Day in the Life of a Mortgage Loan Closer: Work with title company, attorney or lender to ensure a successful loan closing.
Work with Loan Officer or Loan assistant to get any trailing items needed from Underwriter.
Prepare /deliver signed loan document packages for delivery to investor, as applicable.
Prepare signed loan document packages for scanning to Synergy.
Maintain current knowledge of lending environment, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
Excellent and effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ensure confidentiality of bank and customer data throughout the life of the loans serviced.
Maintain customer records in a manner that allows for routine contact.
Professionally develop and maintain external and internal referral sources to assist in ensuring a continuous pipeline of loans.
Attend regular training to maintain knowledge of industry trends, developments and changes in regulatory laws.

Requirements: To Be successful in this role, you will need to have: High School diploma, or equivalent.
3+ years experience working with mortgage loans, familiarity with forms and procedures.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service experience to both internal and external customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office product.
Knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices including the use of standard office equipment.

00 - $25.
00 per hour, this is however, not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Salary will be determined based on experience and work location.
