I am looking to hire a Director of Maintenance and Auction Company Support to work mostly in Westby, and the surrounding area.
This person would have a wide variety of jobs but would work under Garrick’s direction in different businesses.
The main jobs would include Snow Plowing, Lawn mowing, general maintenance on houses/apartments, working with Olerud Auctions to set up sales, and work the day of the sale and other miscellaneous job duties.
Job duties and responsibilities:
-On Call for snowplowing during the winter months, must be able to operate the company owned plow truck.
No CDL is required.
-Lawn care, general property maintenance.
Skills that would be a bonus, but not required would be general carpenter, basic electrical or plumbing, landscaping, painting, and small engine skills.
-Conduct regular inspections and work with the property manager to come up with a list of any repairs that were needed.
-Act as a general contractor on larger projects, to organize the different people needed to complete the job.
-Auction Company- If a person has a true desire to learn the Auction business inside and out this could be a great place to start.
This person could start by setting up sales, working the ring the day or other jobs within the Auction company.
With growth to eventually book Auction sales and to even start Auctioneering.
Commission bonus would be earned depending on the work that was done for the Auction company.
Benefits and Pay
Base Pay would be $18 to $23 an hour depending on experience.
Vacation time earned.
