Description:
People's Food Co-op Clerks in the Grocery Department play a critical role in ensuring our shoppers leave the store with an awesome experience.
Grocery Clerks are responsible for replenishing and merchandising all grocery products.
They also maintain a working knowledge of product selections and locations.
This position will work weekday mornings and afternoons during the week but must have some weekend availability.
The pay is $14.
00 per hour.
1.
Position Responsibilities
a.
Provide prompt and friendly service, including answering questions and providing samples.
b.
Maintain knowledge of product, provides information to customers regarding use and preparation.
c.
Ensure department cases, shelf areas and prep areas are clean.
d.
Order products as directed.
e.
Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy.
f.
Prepare items for stocking, stocks, rotates, merchandises and faces product according to procedure.
g.
Maintain back stock areas according to department standards.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation, including the ability to safely lift 15 to 25 lbs.
, stand/walk 6-8 hours per day, engage in the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
