*Grain + Mill Marketing Manager*

The Grain + Mill Marketing Manager contributes to our mission by ensuring the success of the feed and grain operations.
Responsible for customer relationships, purchasing and hedging grain, facilitating grain contacts, and oversight of office personnel at feed mill location.

*Job Classification: *Full Time, Exempt
*Job Description:*
* Oversight of the Feed Mill location office operations including accounting, grain positioning, trucking accounting, and customer relationships.
* Sets grain prices, basis levels, and grain contract programs.
* Communicates with producers to purchase grain and facilitate trucking.
* Maintains hedging position in futures market to minimize risk.
* Identifies and builds relationships with customer base and creates opportunities to increase WFR market share.
* Sets and communicates harvest hours, drying charges, storage rates, and transportation rates with customers.
* Participates in audits and compliance.
* Works in close conjunction with grain operations teams to ensure adequate grain quality.
*Qualifications and Desired Skills:*
* 2-4 year degree and or/equivalent relevant experience.
* Strong leadership
* Big picture thinking and decisiveness
* Adaptable and can deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
* Meets commitments and deadlines.
* Strong prioritization and communication skills.
* Accounting background/skillset
* Ability to work extended hours during harvest months
