Description:
Position Summary: The Digital Marketing Specialist I (one) adds value to BAPI and the Marketing Team by creating and implementing effective digital marketing collateral to help promote BAPIs image and brand globally through digital media sources.
This role must develop print and online marketing content across both domestic and international marketing channels, perform ad copywriting and content creation to support culturally competent online marketing campaigns, have advanced knowledge of graphical tools (ex: Adobe CC suite), and create assets for marketing campaigns and maintain them over time.
Principle Responsibilities:
Create and implement effective digital marketing content to support BAPIs expansion to international markets
Create graphic materials to support the needs of our tradeshow and travel schedule
Develop and maintain digital content for printed materials such as catalogs, brochures, flyers, signage, business cards, etc.
Develop creative copy for websites, blogs, social media, email, digital and print advertising, product marketing collateral, research, social media, and other forms of marketing copy
Maintain awareness of new and culturally competent marketing platforms and techniques, as well as look for opportunities to innovate and develop new techniques
Contributing to department collaborative creative ideas & strategy planning sessions as well as contributing to keeping a modern standard to the brand’s front-facing design
Coordinate / support the creation of social media digital content in various forms (e.
g.
website? blogs? video content, press releases and podcasts)
Develop culturally targeted social media content, content scheduling/calendars for a variety of social media platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or other approved platforms
Coordinate with teammates on ways to enhance online visibility and social engagement
Capture, archive and post relevant company event content on appropriate social media platforms
Report metrics for various campaigns to determine effectiveness
Website Management & Design including updates, enhancements and ecommerce
Develop and update content for use on all web entities
Assist in maintaining website ecommerce data
Seek opportunities for improvements or advancements on the visual and written presentation of the website’s content and user experience
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Implement a working knowledge of SEO standards and practices and apply to content within the public facing website(s)
Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated supervisor.
Requirements:
Education Requirements (R/Required, P/Preferred):
(P) Associate’s Degree, Trade or Technical School
(P) Bachelor’s Degree
Degrees Preferred: Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration/Management with emphasis in Marketing
Training, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Specific Training in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):
(R) Demonstrable skill with Adobe Creative Suite Software (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, XD, Dimension, and Acrobat) as well as Microsoft Office Suite
(R) Experience managing social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube or other approved media platform
(R) Ability to understand a technical product and industry
(R) 1 years of experience in a marketing department or equivalent
Experience/Knowledge in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):
(R) Well-developed writing ability and excellent grammar
(R) Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
