Are you passionate about basketball and want to make a difference in the lives of young athletes? Do you have excellent communication and organizational skills and a knack for fundraising? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Nike sponsored AAU basketball program fundraising intern position.
* As a fundraising intern, you will work closely with the program director and coaches to plan, execute, and evaluate various fundraising events and campaigns.
You will also help with donor outreach, grant writing, social media promotion, and budget management.
* You will gain valuable experience in nonprofit management, event planning, and sports marketing while supporting a worthy cause.
* To apply for this position, you must also have a strong interest in basketball and youth development, and be able to commit to at least 10 hours per week for the duration of the program.
Previous fundraising or event planning experience is preferred but not required.
You must also have access to reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the local area as needed.
