Position Location: Onsite
Total Compensation: $110,000 - $155,000 annually
Purpose & Summary: At Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations, the ITAD business unit procures used electronic equipment from large corporate entities, universities, hospitals, and through channel partnerships.
We provide asset tracking and security services, test and repair equipment, and resell for revenue share.
As the Director of Outbound Sales in our ITAD Business Unit, you will be pivotal in leading the outbound sales of electronics material across all channels, including wholesale, online B2B, B2C, direct to end-user selling, and both whole unit and component level products domestically and internationally.
Your leadership will ensure we achieve our target goals to maximize the value of our equipment through developing end-market strategies, managing sales teams for profitable growth, and fostering a culture of success and goal achievement.
Your team are experts with their thumbs on the pulse of the secondary electronics markets.
You'll serve on the ITAD business unit leadership team, solving department-level problems and strategically planning for ITAD's long-term success.
In this role, you will build a high-performing team while providing ongoing coaching and mentoring.
In a director-level position at Dynamic, you are one of few senior leaders who have influence in the performance and direction of the organization.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and developing business development strategies to achieve the division's sales goals.
Hiring, developing, and mentoring the sales team while fostering a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
Managing the sales teams to deliver profitable growth and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through established systems of measurement.
Working closely with the leadership team in the division to assemble annual budgets and develop long-term strategic plans.
Identifying opportunities to improve and manage margin, determine and monitor KPIs, and quickly react to trends and changes in performance.
Ability to travel up to 15%, sometimes internationally.
Required Education & Experience: In recognition of the unique nature of our industry and this sub department, our hiring team is searching for a mindset more than on-paper qualifications.
The ideal candidate has a natural curiosity, is goal-oriented, strategic, with the ability to lead and mentor an in-person and remote team.
A background in ecommerce or wholesale sales is advantageous for success.
Strong financial acumen and ability to connect the dots from a business development perspective.
A minimum of three years of experience in sales or ecommerce management is required, ideally with director-level sales experience and a background in developing go-to-market strategies.
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Relevant experience in the field can be considered in lieu of the preferred educational qualifications, emphasizing a practical understanding of sales strategy development, leadership, and market expansion within the ITAD sector.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, a sense of urgency, tenacity, innovation, and effective leadership skills.
Strong financial and business acumen.
Willingness to make decisions even when not all the information is available.
Proficiency in people and performance management, CRM – Salesforce, analytical sales process development, strategic planning, change management, and sales training.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing work environment with the ability to travel up to 15%, occasionally internationally.
Outstanding candidates will also have experience with international sales and operational process experience, online sales experience, and demonstrated use of applying cost models.
A project management certification is preferred.
