I've turned on a handful of lathes (Jets, etc.
) , and I like this one a lot relative to size, weight, voltage (120v) etc.
It's reasonably heavy, and can turn bowls up to 12" diameter, but 2 strong people can move it manageably.
Swing head, variable speed.
Selling because I've moved, and don't want it to sit idle.
Comes with turning tools, Rikon low speed bench grinder (practically new, retails around $150), vicmark 120 chuck & adapter (doesn't get much better! retails $300) and jaw set (as pictured, $100).
Also included: 30-40 rough turned bowls, mostly cherry, 6"-12", ready to be finished, and lots of raw wood slabs dried and ready to turn.
