Apply to join our growing team today! Position Summary: As the HVAC Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our HVAC service operations and maintaining high-quality standards in customer service, technical proficiency, and team performance.
This position requires hands-on involvement in both managerial and field-related tasks, with an expectation to travel an average of 15% of the time (up to 25% at peak times during the year) to different client sites and locations.
Apply today to join our growing team! Requirements: Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional warranty coverage and service delivery.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate HVAC service activities, optimizing technician assignments and workload distribution.
Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure efficient and timely completion of service projects.
Maintain and broaden a network of trained independent service providers across the United States that can be hired for equipment startups at job sites.
Participate in hands-on HVAC repair, maintenance, and installation tasks as needed, both independently and alongside your team.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies during all service operations.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
Generate detailed service reports, documentation, and invoices, maintaining accurate records of all service activities.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Manage budgets and resources effectively, optimizing operational efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in HVAC or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC technician experience, with a strong understanding of various HVAC systems and components.
Proven track record in HVAC service management, including team leadership and project coordination.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight stays as needed.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
HVAC certifications (e.
g.
, NATE, EPA) are a plus.
