We are hiring for a door hanging/laborer in our exterior door shop!
2nd shift - 12:30 p.

*Essential Functions*
* Check incoming and outgoing product for quality.
* Pull material to prepare for shipment.
* Visually check species and style of product.
* Visually check for defects
* Machine/prep doors for building.
* Knowledge of product, proper handling techniques
* Proper use of machinery in department.
Forklifts, saws, wrapping devices, etc.
* Hinge jambs, Hang door, apply brick mold and cladding
* Assist packaging
* Operate Kval and FullHouse door hanging station
*Qualifications*
* High School diploma or GED
* Two years experience in manufacturing environment
*SKILLS AND ABILITIES*
* Ability to be highly organized and able to keep jobs together.
* Ability to interact with machining, receiving, pulling and finishing department team members.
* Ability to track paperwork, including pick tickets and purchase orders.
* Ability to access information from the computer, including: pick ticket delivery dates and information, purchase order arrivals and information, and customer information.
* Ability to communicate with supervisors and team members of other departments to coordinate information on a customer’s order.
* A high sense of urgency and a willingness to work as a team, not as an individual.
* Ability to understand the nature of wood species and veneers along with their individual characteristics in both sanding and finishing.
