Overall Purpose of Position Work is performed in manufacturing environment.
Ink Mixer will obtain ingredients, make correct measurements per formula, add ingredients to base.
We provide on the job training.
Prior ink mixing experience is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to use mixer to mix ingredients.
Must be able to read and understand instructions.
Ability to measure accurately using scales and measuring tools.
Ability to communicate with supervisor and coworkers.
Must have the ability to add and subtract.
Ability to color match.
Ability to work under time constraints.
Perform production needs.
Keep department clean and orderly.
Eliminate down time and perform color checks.
Make amounts needed per order to eliminate waste.
Keep daily track of ink for inventory and order accordingly.
Look up formulas and make one variety.
Make adjustments to correct or improve the priority issues or coating issues.
Maintain records for updating formulas.
Work on all color development.
Watch for outdated ink and dump in waste drum.
