Location – Conversion and Labeling Facility This is an onsite role that works at the Conversion & Labeling Facility in Cashton, WI.

Summary of Role The Conversion and Labeling Facility Production Team Lead is responsible for all aspects of the conversion of products on our Ghee, Deli Cheese and Cheese shreds production lines.
This position will also be responsible for the sanitation of the production areas and machines, on a rotating basis.
This role directs and guides staff towards common goals created by the CALF Production Supervisor.
This role is also responsible for keeping documentation updated and training new staff on all required CALF duties.
The CALF Production Team Lead also assists the CALF Production Supervisor with projects and assignments as needed.
This is a safety sensitive role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow all SOP’s to ensure proper conversion of products.
Operate all equipment with a strong attention to detail.
Set up of all equipment on any production line.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Regulations.
Follow quality standards to ensure our customers receive exceptional products.
Pack products in boxes and palletize.
Work safely and follow safety requirements.
Ensure that all necessary information is properly documented.
Clean and Sanitize production equipment and room when necessary.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities Directs and guides the team with Supervisor direction Complete quality checks or verify checks have been completed.
Assist with troubleshooting issues.
Verify sanitation, quality and production logs is accurately completed.
Using ERP for basic functions, this includes: reporting, issuing and creating transfers for finished product going to Cashton and printing BOLs (Bill of Ladings).
Assist with onboarding by providing hands on training for new staff members.
Remain compliant will all audit duties, which include but aren’t limited to: ensuring weekly hygiene audits and monthly GMP audits are completed by staff as well as attending meetings assigned by supervisor.
Room rotation scheduling to meet ergonomics requirements.
Complete daily shift reports to communicate production challenges.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 120 pounds with assistance.
Strong communication skills required, both written and verbal.
Basic computer skills.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to occasionally bend and twist/turn throughout shift as needed.
Demonstrated competency and understanding of machine operations.
Demonstrated competency and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work with required sanitation chemicals as specified by cleaning SOPs.
Demonstrated ability to provide timely and tactful accountability.
One year of experience in a food production facility preferred.
Must be well organized, detail oriented, and accurate.
Highly motived with the ambition to always be learning.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Ability to promote process improvement and adapt to change.
Base salary/hourly wage range: $18.
00 an hour - $22.
40 an hour The typical hourly wage for a new hire is $19.
00 an hour.
This position also receives a $1.
00 per hour shift premium between the hours of 6pm and 6am, and a $1.
00 per hour shift premium on Saturdays and Sundays.
This salary/hourly wage range is exclusive of fringe benefits.
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses.
If you are hired at CROPP, your final base salary/hourly wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the salary/hourly wage range and hiring at the maximum of the salary/hourly wage range is not typical.
