Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Assessing existing processes and developing ideas to improve them
• Designing, modifying and implementing casting processes to reduce production defects
• Support the Implementation of Robotic Work Cells
• Assisting with the purchase or upgrade, implementation and testing of equipment
• Operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment as per prescribed industry standards
• Analyzing and optimizing production processes to increase productivity and reduce expenses
• Gathering data and preparing reports to update senior management on productivity, efficiency, and budgets
• Overseeing plant operations and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
• Using programming knowledge to develop programs for controlling and automating processes
• Troubleshooting operational issues, developing process routines, and implementing best practices
• Writing process documents and standard operating procedures to facilitate the production process
• Developing various process instrumentation and measurement techniques
• Excellent attendance expected
• Wear proper PPE for the job
• Comply with safety regulations
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• CNC programming support for production
• PLC programming for machine/process control
• Root cause analysis of defects in products and processes
• Develop and execute controlled tests
• Use of sound engineering principles
• Ability of Communicate Professionally, both Verbal and Written
• Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills
• Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal work instructions
• Capability to work well under minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail

Education and Training
• 2+ years of Engineering in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
Mon - Friday
8am - 5pm, 40-45 hrs per week.
