Position Objective
The Robot Technician is responsible for daily troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and integration of robots in the manufacturing environment
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Troubleshooting and maintenance of robotic work-cells
Implementation of new robotic work-cells
Industrial System Troubleshooting including:
Electrical Panels, Relays, PLC’s
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Cylinders, Valves, Pumps
Mechanical Equipment, Gears, Dies, CNC Mills, Lathes
Improve the uptime of Deco’s existing robotic systems
Improve the quality and efficiency other automation equipment at Deco Products
3D CAD Design
Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
CNC programming for production efficiencies
PLC programming for machine/process control
Implement process controls to reduce process variation
Working Conditions:
Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting
The employee must be able to lift or move items over 50 pounds.
Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Some time in office environment
Qualifications:
Experience in PLC programming
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Education in Robotics, Automation, or Electrical Technology
