Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grinding / Polishing Trainer to join our team.
The role involves training and developing personnel in grinding & polishing operations to ensure proficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards in our manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grinding techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols, coupled with a passion for teaching and coaching.
Responsibilities:
1.
Deliver comprehensive training programs to personnel involved in grinding / polishing operations, covering safety procedures for processes, equipment operation, quality control measures, and standard work instruction.
2.
Provide hands-on instruction and guidance to ensure trainees develop the skills and knowledge required to perform grinding / polishing tasks effectively and efficiently.
3.
Assess trainee performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback and additional training as needed.
4.
Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to develop training plans that align with operational goals and objectives.
5.
Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and safety regulations related to grinding / polishing operations, and integrate relevant updates into training materials & standard work.
6.
Maintain training documentation, records, and materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1.
Proven experience in grinding operations, with a strong understanding of grinding / polishing techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
2.
Teaching and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
3.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
4.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training programs, including the design of instructional materials and assessment tools.
5.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in grinding / polishing operations.
6.
Ability to adapt training approaches to accommodate different learning styles and skill levels.
