Duties
Operate a variety of diesel and gasoline powered equipment to include generators, wheeled/track vehicles, and semi-trailer combinations up to 70 ton capacity.
Operate various types of forklifts and equipment to complete loading, unloading, warehousing and preparing equipment and supplies for transport.
Examples of forklifts and equipment range from 2,000 pound to 50,000 pound capacity rough terrain (RT), and various types of wheeled and tracked cranes up through 25 tons.
Perform preventative maintenance checks and services.
Perform operator maintenance to include servicing vehicle braking systems, checking vehicle lights, and taking oil samples.
Receive incoming warehouse items and equipment and check them for damage and serviceability.
Issue/receive equipment; store equipment in the warehouse; load outgoing equipment.
Prepare and post documents for the Army Oil Analysis Program and dispatching equipment.
Prepare accountability documents and warehouse reports.
Requirements Conditions of Employment THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.

Frequently lifts and carries supplies, material and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
Working Conditions: Subject to working outdoors during periods of inclement weather.
Is exposed to serious injuries while operating vehicles over public roads and on the installation.
Works on concrete floors and in drafty areas.
May be exposed to fumes, fluids, dirt, battery acids, etc.
