Responsibilities
Responsible for all electrical infrastructure, maintenance, design, and operation.
Responsible for the repair or replacement of all electrical systems, including uninterruptible power systems and generation equipment.
Serves as primary contact for all power quality issues.
Coordinates and oversees related infrastructure projects and works closely withall facilities staff (including Facilities Project Services), contractors and vendors.
Develops a preventive maintenance program that responds to The Joint Commission, industry standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
Four years experience in circuitry, electrical distribution, lighting, and maintenance of electrical machinery and equipment with knowledge of electronics required.
Prefer extensive experience on clinical and hospital electrical systems.
State of Wisconsin Master Electrician license is preferred.
Demonstrates ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, specifications, and draw schematics.
Demonstrates strong electrical trouble shooting skills.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of local, state,and national electrical codes and standards.
Basic understanding of windows-based software and preventive maintenance system.
Prior team leadership experience preferred.
Demonstrates ability to perform arc flash analysis and label electrical panels accordingly.
