*This is an opportunity to begin a career as a travelling equipment inspector.
* You will primarily work with Fire Departments and Municipal Utility companies.
We prefer those with mechanic, welding, or inspection experience, but anyone can apply.
*TRAINING:* Initial training for the position will begin with an online training orientation program.
After beginner training, employees will work and train with a certified inspector.
Training continues until certification requirements are met.
*TRAVEL:* ABILITY TO TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY _IS A MUST_.
Technician assistants will travel for *4-6 week long assignments*, followed by a weekend break.
Breaks are scheduled for all major holidays, and occasional weekends.
Company pays required travel expenses including airfare, lodging, per-diem etc.
Geographical assignments can be in any one of our domestic territories.
Although not promised, assignments could be close to home allowing additional home time.
*COMPENSATION:* ALL NEW HIRES START IN A TRAINING / ASSISTANT POSITION - *Base Salary *_*starts *_*between $45,000 - $50,000/yr.
* Expect to take in an additional *$8-10,000 per year* in per diem.
We offer a variety of benefits including company vehicle, cell phone allowance, medical, 401k, vacation accrual and holiday pay.
*CERTIFIED INSPECTOR CAREER:* Once certified, technicians are based from home.
Technicians will be given a fully-equipped *company vehicle *and will continue to service customers in their local geography.
A typical coverage area is roughly a 200 mile radius depending on location.
Travel will still be an expectation, however, there will be significantly more home time than during training.
