MasterMold is looking to add a Human Resources Generalist to our Mauston team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate initiative, drive, and the ability to work in a team environment.
This Human Resources Generalist will assist with all necessary Human Resources functions, to support all team members and leadership of our Mauston, WI facility, and report to the Human Resources Manager.
This is an on-site role.
Primary responsibilities
Payroll/Time and attendance: Work closely with our management team to provide the most current attendance information in relation to production scheduling.
Review time sheets and maintain employee timecards to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Training: Maintain training records, perform necessary training to ensure compliance, follow up on completed training and retrain if necessary.
Compliance: Maintain updated knowledge of applicable labor laws, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and guidelines (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, Social Security Act, etc.
).
Employee Relations: Set up and maintain personnel and other employment files ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Serve as a point of contact to all employees, regarding HR polices, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Corporate Development: Work with the Human Resources Manager to identify staffing needs, training needs, timely completion of employee reviews, and general HR support.
Weekly reporting to the Human Resources Manager, with Human Resources issues, facilitating cohesiveness with Corporate HR practices
Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating FMLA and other benefits
Act as the point of contact for HR issues
Employee benefit enrollments and new hire orientations
Researching issues and questions
Research, format, and update job descriptions.
Ensure ongoing consistent practices as they relate to the storage and formatting
Prepare documents for data entry of employee changes, terminations, etc.
Prepare miscellaneous Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents as needed
Coordinate recruiting efforts with the HR team
Other duties as requested
Basic Qualifications
Associate degree in related field and/or 1-2 years Human Resources work experience.
2-3 years’ experience with an HRIS software package.
2-3 years’ experience with the Microsoft office suite
Bilingual preferred; at a minimum, the ability to understand and to make one’s self understood to all Spanish speaking individuals
Working knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and retaining employees.
Accuracy, confidentiality, efficiency
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with focus on multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
