Dairy Plant Manager

Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the dairy department, ensuring efficient and effective production processes - Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and quality control - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production plans and schedules - Maintain and repair mechanical equipment to ensure smooth operations - Manage inventory and supply chain to ensure adequate stock levels - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards - Lead a team of dairy workers, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks - Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste - Monitor production metrics and implement process improvements as needed Qualifications: - Previous experience in dairy or food production management preferred - Strong knowledge of production planning and operations management - Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment - Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures - Proven ability to lead a team and drive results - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $130,000.
