What this role is all about: The Recruitment and Retention Specialist is responsible for the full cycle recruiting process for multiple hourly and salary positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing, building candidate pipelines and onboarding.
The Recruitment and Retention Specialist will build and maintain relationships with supervisors and prospective talent to successfully manage ongoing partnerships and deliver top talent to the organization.
Responsibilities and Results: Manage the full cycle recruiting process for multiple positions: sourcing applications/resumes of candidates, conducting phone screenings, coordinating, and conducting interviews, tracking candidates and reporting interview data.
Manage the hiring process for multiple positions: setting up pre-employment screenings/tests, scheduling and assisting in orientation, communicating new hire information to Supervisors and the Human Resources department.
Conduct check-ins with new hires and their supervisors to collect feedback and identify additional training needs/room for improvement.
Collect feedback from new hires to ensure the onboarding process is going smoothly.
Partner with plant leaders to help identify hiring needs and provide expertise in hiring and talent planning.
Work with plant superintendents and supervisors to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
Maintain a variety of recruiting sources that provide appropriate candidate flow.
Work with Human Resources Manager to interpret and explain human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations as needed.
Establish close working relationships to understand production objectives and requirements to assist in the timely delivery of people-related solutions.
Act as a liaison between the production unit and Human Resources to ensure that recruitment and hiring services are aligned with internal department/team needs and production goals.
Ensure hiring programs support the long-term goals of the organization.
Maintain professional community relations to increase our organization’s visibility and further personal development.
Maintain internal and external networking contacts beneficial for sharing recruitment, hiring and retention information.
Location and Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm This is an in-person position.
The office is located at 1620 Townline Rd, Tomah WI, 54660 Skills and Knowledge: Ability to communicate with candidates who speak English or Spanish.
