```Duties```
- Prepare accurate and detailed construction cost estimates for projects
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to understand project scope and objectives
- Research and gather information on materials, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create estimates and proposals
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide support to project teams by assisting with cost control measures
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to construction estimating
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a construction estimator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, techniques, and practices
- Proficient in using software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other estimating tools
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to accurately calculate costs and quantities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ability to negotiate contracts and resolve pricing discrepancies
- Familiarity with project management processes and cost control measures
