Child Care Teacher

It Takes a Village Childcare LLC is a newly licensed center, located in Holmen, WI.
We are looking for a creative and engaged teacher who has a passion for children and teaching.

*General Statement of Duties* * Plan and implement a daily lesson plan designed to meet the developmental needs of a group of children.
* Have an understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
* Must be sensitive to the needs of individual children and relate well to both the children and adults.
* Collaborate and communicate with other staff in order to develop a positive environment for the children.
*Responsibilities* * Plan, schedule, and implement the daily lesson plan of developmentally appropriate experiences for a group of children.
* Maintain a physical environment conducive to children's growth and development and arrange the classroom/materials to promote optimal growth and development.
* Build positive relationships with children, families and other staff.
* Consider and meet the needs of each individual child and group of children as a whole.
_Ex:_ _Help each child develop a positive self-image and teach children how to get along with their peers in a large group setting.
_ *Qualifications* * Have the ability to stand, bend, squat, lift, and sit with the children * CPR Certification (preferred) * Prior experience in early childcare or currently pursuing * At least 18 years old *Our teachers enjoy:* * An 8 hour work day * Schedules that are Full-time or Part-Time * Weekends off * A closed center on major holidays It Takes a Village Childcare Center values diversity and providing everyone with an equal employment opportunity.
