Black River Child Care Services, Inc.
Black River Child Care Services, Inc.
is a non-profit Child Care Center, state licensed to serve 71 children ages 6 weeks-12 at our Main Location and 45 children at our School Age Location.
Duties
The Program Director is responsible for the supervision of the planning and implementation of the day- to-day program for children, the supervision of staff at the center, staff meetings, orientation and continuing education for the staff.
In addition to meeting the needs of the children enrolled at the center and working with staff development, the Program Director shall be a key public relations person for the center by working with parents and the community at large promoting the Black River Area Child Care Services, Inc.
Also, the Program Director will work with the Board of Directors keeping them aware of the Center's needs, policies and overall "state of the center.

Requirements
Hours: Position is 40 hours per week.
Experience Required: A minimum of two years' experience as a child care teacher or 1 year experience as center director or lead child care teacher of a licensed child care center or other approved setting.
Must be 21 years of age, completed High School or equivalent.
Education Required: (One of the following)
Bachelors' Degree in Early Childhood Education or possess a WI DPI License to act as a Kindergarten, pre-kindergarten or early childhood teacher.
A certificate from The Registry indicating the person is on Registry Level 14 or higher.
Wisconsin Child Care Administrator's Credential
Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education
Four approved courses in Early Childhood Education and within three years of assuming the position obtain the WI Child Care Administrator Credential.
